Aisle 7

Night shift at Waha Market. The store is closed, and some of tonight's delivery isn't real.

Take each product off the cart, scan it with your phone, and compare the pack with its record. Real goes on the shelf. Fake goes in the red crate. Empty the cart, walk through the shutter, and the next aisle begins.

Nothing tells you when you get one wrong. The next aisle's sign does: Aisle 2… or Aisle 1 again.

Seven aisles

Beverages, Biscuits, Cereals, Milk & dairy, Snacks, Tea & coffee, Dates & sweets. Fifty-six products, each with a record. A fake might have the wrong colour, a misspelled name, the wrong logo, size, price or date, a barcode that belongs to something else, or no record at all.

The night gets worse

• Tonight's rules are posted by the cart, and they change every aisle. Break one and you start again.
• Shelves you have filled can change when you are not looking.
• One aisle has no power. Your phone camera sees what you can't.
• A stocker who looks like you. A pack that keeps coming back. And sometimes, an aisle that shouldn't exist.

How to play

• About 15 minutes. Plays on computers and on phones and tablets (turn it sideways). Headphones recommended.
• Computer: WASD to walk, mouse to look. Click to take, shelve or reject. F or right-click to scan. Hold Q to look closely. Hold Space for the phone camera. Esc to pause.
• Phone or tablet: left thumb to walk, drag on the right to look. The big button takes, shelves and rejects. Tap SCAN to scan. Hold LOOK to look closely, hold CAM for the phone camera.

Contains jumpscares and flashing lights. Sound captions can be turned on in the pause menu.
